LOCK HAVEN — Join Skills of Central PA for crafts, games, snacks, and an opportunity to learn more about our mental health services in Lock Haven!

Skills of Central PA will hold an Open house at Skills’ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program on Thursday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 11 First St. to provide residents the opportunity to learn more about the services that Skills provides at its psychiatric rehabilitation program in Lock Haven. Skills staff and people it supports will be available to answer questions and give tours of the program. Crafts, games, prizes, and refreshments will be available.

The event is free and open to the public.

Skills’ Psychiatric Rehabilitation programs promote recovery, community integration, and improved quality of life for people diagnosed with mental health challenges that seriously impair their ability to lead a meaningful life. Services help people develop skills and connect with the resources they need to help them succeed at home, at work, and in the community. People who participate in the psychiatric rehabilitation programs work on individualized goals in the living, working, learning, and social environments of their choice through creative and engaging classes and community participation.
