JOHANNESBURG – City Power attended to a power outage in Fordsburg on Monday.
The outage affected most of the Joburg CBD and Selby.
City Power says the outage occurred around 8am after a fire in the underground tunnels at Ntemi Piliso Street tripped two main lines.
An investigation into the fire will be conducted.
City Power says it is unable to confirm when power will be restored.
