MMA and UFC Veteran Peter Barrett to Lead New HardKore Athletic Performance Center’s Combat Fitness Program

HardKore Athletic Performance Center recently announced that New England Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Veteran Peter Barrett will lead the Combat Fitness Program at the newly renovated state-of-the-art athletic facility at 22 Reservoir Park Drive, Unit 4  in Rockland, MA.

A native of Abington, Barrett will offer Muay Thai centered training and combat fitness classes. He specializes in kick boxing and combat sports and will offer coaching and nutrition to athletes at all levels. Muay Thai is a form of kick boxing from Thailand and is an intense type of combat sport that promises physical and mental benefits. He also holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitso.

Barrett was a contract winner for UFC’s Contender television series for the season 3 finale. He started wrestling when he was a student at BC High School and earned a degree in Business Marketing and Management from Regis College in Denver CO. He also coached wrestling at BC High School.

“As a professional athlete who has trained and competed at the highest levels Peter brings incredible fitness training to our facility,”said Kevin Orcutt, President and CEO of HardKore Athletic Performance Center. “Peter is truly a role model for our student athletes and offers one-on-one training as well as small classes. He is absolutely passionate about his sport and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with his clients.”
