Fun and fitness is theme for Friends of the Murrieta Library program

“Embrace Fun and Fitness” is the theme for the Friends of the Murrieta Library’s May 17 program, in celebration of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.

In the program, presented by Kevin Duenas and Tony Greco, participants will exercise and learn how to hit a golf ball.

The public is invited to attend the program, at 10 a.m. in the Community Room of the Murrieta Library at 8 Town Square.

Kevin Duenas and his team of movement experts at Dynamic Fitness High Performance Kinesiology in Murrieta use biomechanics and applied kinesiology in working with fitness, post-rehab and athlete clients, according to a news release.

Tony Greco, owner of APG Golf and director of instruction at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, teaches golf to children and adults as well as to PGA Tour professionals.

Working as a team, Duenas and Greco have trained many of Murrieta’s athletes, including the Murrieta Valley High School golf team, according to the news release.

The Friends of the Murrieta Library support to the Murrieta Public Library through fundraising, advocacy and volunteerism. The group’s monthly meetings provide an opportunity to meet authors, artists, performers and community leaders.
