Nashik: The Deolali Cantonment Board (DCB) has decided to charge an entry fee to Temple Hill for the maintenance of the garden area.
A decision in this regard will be taken soon. Senior officials of the DCB, including the nominated member, recently decided to charge an entry fee to Temple Hill for its upkeep. The Temple Hill area of Deolali Camp has a continuous flow of visitors throughout the day and evening.
Visitors from Nashik and those visiting Deolali Camp come to this place with family and friends.
However, the visitors litter the place. On this backdrop, a handful of citizens of Deolali Camp come to this place and clean up the area as much possible as.
So to maintain the cleanliness of the area, the cantonment board has planned to charge an entry fee for visiting Temple Hill.
Rahul Gajbhiye, the CEO of Deolali Cantonment Board confirmed that plans are afoot to charge the entry fee, though a final decision is yet to be taken. A section of residents, however, said the fee should not be made applicable to the residents of Deolali Camp.
