This is the year. Definitely. We’re all going to look at the new PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Fitness Apps, download one and get moving. Speaking only for us, we’ve barely moved in two years. That makes this almost a medical thing.
Almost. Let’s not overdo it. Perfect way to ruin an exercise routine before it starts.
Try starting with a short walk through these rankings. We promise it’ll be fast.
The Top 5
At No. 1 and looking fit, it’s the FitCoach app, unmoved from last cycle.
Proving that working out gets things done, the Workouts By Muscle Booster moves to No. 2.
Unpretentious Planet Fitness Workouts drops a spot to No. 3, but they’re easygoing.
The MyFitnessPal app is where we left it last time at No. 4. No gain, no loss.
Similarly, Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter keeps its No. 5 spot, closing out the Top 5.
The Top 10
Chill at No. 6 is the Strava: Run, Ride, Swim app — which sounds like a triathlon, but it’s quite fun.
FitOn Workouts drops a spot to No. 7 this cycle but stays in the Top 10. Nicely done.
The Nike Training Club app drops one chart position to No. 8, which means they’ll just try harder. They’re Nike.
Running in place at No. 9 it’s Runkeeper, not giving an inch. We respect that.
Down two spots from last cycle, at No. 10 we’ve got Map My Run By Under Armour.
Out of breath? Probably. Seriously, get an app and do a sit-up already.
