When I’m out, I’ll get grilled chicken with quinoa and vegetables, and chaas.
I like to keep the ingredients and quantity of my lunch consistent, and time it between 12.30 and 1.30 pm. It works well for my body, keeping me energised for an action-packed second half of the day. And if I’m really craving something sweet, I’ll have a piece of 70% dark chocolate.”

“I love eating home food – that’s always been my go-to and comfort. Being a big foodie, I’m lucky because my palette’s been trained for the healthier versions of food.
For me, a plate every day looks like some rice/bhakri, some dal, and a green leafy vegetable. I eat white meat too – chicken and fish – once in a while.
I also love thalis – I like a little of everything, a variety of food. When I go out to eat, I always know the menu beforehand, and order accordingly.”

Given my schedule, lunch is the biggest and heaviest meal of the day. This includes dal, sabzi, jowar, bajra or nachni roti or paratha, salad or curd with sprouts, or sometimes chaas. I love home-cooked wholesome meals and believe in keeping it safe, simple and smart. Generally speaking, our traditional Indian home-cooked meals are extremely nutritious when cooked right.
