Drive-thru cocktails, Crunch Fitness, boutiques and more coming to Beaumont


The latest projects filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that multiple new businesses are coming to Beaumont, including a Crunch Fitness gym, a drive-thru frosted cocktail restaurant and two clothing stores. Multiple other businesses are set to come to the city, while other companies already in Beaumont plan on renovating or adding to existing spaces.

Here are some of the most recent projects filed with TDLR in the city of Beaumont.

Crunch Fitness
4191 N. Dowlen Rd.

Type of work: Renovation/alteration
Estimated cost: $1.6 million
Estimated timeline: 6/1/2022 – 12/31/2022
Scope of work: The project will renovate and improve the current 30,000 square foot building at the location for a new Crunch Fitness, according to the filing. The gym’s website does not list Beaumont as a “coming soon” location, but the filing titles the project as Crunch Fitness and lists Crunch CEO and Co-founder Tony Hartl as the tenant.

Daiquiritas

Type of work: Renovation/alteration
Estimated cost: $175,000
Estimated timeline: 5/1/2022 – 6/30/2022
Scope of work: The project will build out a shell space for Daiquiritas, a drive-thru frosted cocktail business with three locations in the Houston area, the filing states.

The company, which has locations across the U.S., previously had a location in Beaumont on Dowlen Road but this story closed in 2017 as part of nationwide store closures, according to 12News.

Scope of work: The project will construct a new 43,000+ square foot mini-storage facility on Concord Road, the project filing reads. The facility will include an office and a bathroom.

Scope of work: This project will build an additional 10,000-square-foot building for Sage Automation, according to the project filing. The company is an equipment manufacturer for gantry-style robots and specializes in custom engineering and fabrication, according to its website.
